Distrabution Company Openings

To decide which company would be most likely to produce our film, we researched well known films of the same genre and discovered which company produced there film.
Sexy Beast (2000): RPC (Recorded Picture Company), FilmFour, Kanzaman

Get Carter (1971): MGM (Metro Goldwyn-Mayer British Studios)

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998): Summit Entertainment, Steve Tisch Company, SKA films.

The Krays (1990): Fugitive TV productions, Fugitive Features, Parkfield Entertainment

Gangster No.1 (2000): FilmFour, Pagoda Films, Road movies production

The General (1998): J&M, Merlin Films

Snatch (2000): Columbia Pictures Corporation, SKA Films

Layer Cake (2004): Sony Pictures Classic, Marv Films

Face (1997): BBC Films, British Screen Productions, Daigoro Face Prodcutions

On reviewing this information, it is likely that an independent film studio would be the most likely option to produce our film. This company would most likely be FilmFour, as it has produced two British gangster films in the past.
We could also go down the route of making our own production company, but we are still considering this as it would mean a lot more work.
